MUSIC BY DAY, MOVIES BY NIGHT
Capture the spirit of summer with Ben & Jerry’s Openair Cinemas’ annual season of live outdoor music and feature films at Bondi Beach, Sydney – on the lawn of life, in the park overlooking Australia’s most iconic beach.
Sydney’s Bondi festival is the fourth leg of the Ben & Jerry’s Openair Cinemas program, which travels here via Brisbane’s South Bank, Melbourne’s St Kilda Beach and Adelaide’s Glenelg, finally finishing up on the shores of Perth and Canberra’s Lake Burley Griffin.
Ben & Jerry’s Openair Cinemas are a quintessential summer event, with feature films lighting up our huge outdoor movie screen under the moonlight from dusk. Cinemagoers can chill out before their movie with some tasty food and frosty beverages from the fully licensed bar, while relaxing to sounds from the best of the Australian music scene and sets from the most exciting emerging local musicians.
Gates open at 6pm for music, eats and sips at sunset before the film begins at around 8pm.

Food & Drink
There is a wide range of snacks and more filling fare to keep your tank running all afternoon and into the evening. And you might have guessed, there’s mouthwatering Ben & Jerry’s to cool down those balmy eves (don’t forget that’s FREE on Sundays for our weekly Sundae Sessions)!
The fully licensed bar is stocked with all manner of beverages from James Squires’ frosty beers to Jacob’s Creek sparkling whites and Aussie reds, and of course some great non-alcoholic offerings from Emma & Tom’s.
Bring a picnic blanket or hire a comfy bean lounger – Ben & Jerry’s Openair Cinemas suit whatever your style may be! The only thing we would say is get in early to grab the best spots as seating is unreserved (except in Star Class).
